At Serenity Hospice Homes in Minnesota, we recognise the profound impact that dedicated personal care has on individuals and their families facing the end of life. Our highly skilled Hospice Aide’s, are the cornerstone of our commitment to providing comfort, dignity, and support.
One of the greatest needs of seniors who want to live independently is having someone to help manage their daily living activities. Our Hospice Care makes it possible for older adults to get their needs met while remaining in the comfort of a familiar environment.
Hospice Aid is trained to provide a wide range of services to individuals in their own homes. Generally, people with a physical or mental disability or older adults who need help with certain everyday tasks use Nursing Assistant services.
Some services provided by a Hospice Aid overlap with those of other in-home care workers, such as home health aides (HHA) or nursing assistants. For instance, in-home workers help clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming. But only workers with state certifications and licenses, such as certified nursing assistants or licensed practical nurses, can provide basic nursing services.
Our personal care aides are vital members of our hospice care team. Because we understand that care needs don’t adhere to a schedule, hospice care is available for patients and their families. This aligns with the dedication of our hospice aides who provide hands-on support for the tasks of daily living.
Our hospice aides work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse case manager, and the plan of care is continually updated to adapt to the evolving needs of both patients and their caregivers.
If you or a loved one in Minnesota could benefit from the comprehensive and compassionate personal care provided by our dedicated hospice aides, please do not hesitate to contact us today. At Serenity Hospice, we are committed to providing exceptional hospice care and unwavering support throughout every stage of this journey.
